Position Overview

Chief of Anesthesia position at HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, Florida. Full-time role leading a care team of 19 anesthesiologists and 27 CRNAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise a qualified care team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs.
• Evaluate anesthesia skills and job performance.
• Manage relationships with surgeons, medical staff, administration, and OR leadership.
• Provide leadership in Perioperative Services management.
• Establish and maintain anesthesia care policies and procedures.

Schedule and Call

17 weeks off annually. No in-house call. Physicians rotate backup call with rare callbacks. No OB, pediatrics, or trauma cases.

Facility Details

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 460-bed acute care facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics. Approximately 18,500 annual cases. Dedicated cardiac team. Certified primary stroke center.

Compensation and Benefits

$100k start date bonus. 17 weeks off annually.

Atlantis, Florida, between West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Proximity to beaches, golf courses, restaurants, and top-rated schools.
