Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, retention, and development of the anesthesia team
• Assist with provider scheduling and operational oversight

• Assist with department operations and strategic planning

Qualifications

Physician leader with interest in combining clinical practice and leadership. Cardiac capability preferred but not required.

Facility Details

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 460-bed acute care facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics. It is a certified primary stroke center. Care team includes 18 anesthesiologists and 25 APPs with approximately 17,000 cases annually.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Full time schedule with 17 weeks off annually. No in-house call. Physicians participate in home back-up call rotation with rare call-back.

Compensation & Benefits

$75,000 start date bonus plus additional relocation bonus. Flexible schedule supporting work-life balance.

Practice Environment

No OB, pediatrics, or trauma. Dedicated cardiac team. Practice includes cardiac, structural heart, vascular, spine, neuro, orthopedic, bariatric, oncology, and general surgical procedures.
