100% Pediatric Anesthesiologist | Chicago Suburbs, IL

Position Overview

Permanent Pediatric Anesthesiologist position with an established private practice in the southeastern suburbs of Chicago, IL. This role focuses exclusively on 100% pediatric cases (healthy peds only) in a modern, kid-friendly outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide solo, direct general anesthesia and procedural sedation for 7-8 pediatric cases per day
• Conduct pre-anesthetic risk assessments and airway evaluations for healthy children
• Monitor intraoperative vital signs and physiological parameters autonomously
• Oversee immediate post-anesthesia recovery and evaluate discharge readiness
• Maintain compliant EHR documentation
• Collaborate with pediatric surgeons and clinical support teams

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Completion of accredited Anesthesiology Residency
• Strong experience managing healthy pediatric patients
• Active or eligible Illinois Medical License
• Active Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substances registration
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Physician must cover own professional liability insurance

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Monday through Friday daytime hours
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• 100% hands-on physician care with no CRNA supervision

Compensation & Benefits
