Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia | Orlando, FL

Position Overview

Nemours Children's Hospital Florida seeks a Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia to provide strategic leadership for cardiac anesthesia services in Jacksonville and Orlando. The role reports in collaboration with the Director of the Nemours Cardiac Center Florida and focuses on clinical excellence, program development, and alignment with Nemours mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clinical activities of the Cardiac Anesthesia Division
• Monitor and facilitate services delivered by division members
• Track performance metrics for quality, patient satisfaction, and outcomes
• Support academic, research, and administrative activities for the pediatric cardiac anesthesia service
• Collaborate across Cardiovascular Services, Nemours clinical divisions, and hospital partners statewide

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• ABA board certification with subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesia
• Experience or additional training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia
• Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license
• Academic leadership experience for University of Central Florida College of Medicine faculty appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level
