Cardiac Anesthesiologist | Naples, FL

Position Overview

Full-time call-taking Cardiac Anesthesiologist position at Rooney Heart Institute in Naples, Florida. $700K base salary with $100K sign-on bonus for 3-year commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesia for standard cardiac surgical and cath lab/EP lab procedures including minimally invasive valve surgery, complex aortic surgery, and transcatheter valve procedures.
• Serve as clinical resource for invasive monitoring and transesophageal echocardiography.
• Consult on preoperative planning for patients with severe cardiopulmonary disease.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and teaching of trainees and staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed anesthesiology residency.
• Board eligible or certified by ABA.
• Completed adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship.
• NBE certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (diplomat status required within 2 years for new graduates).
