Position Overview

24 Hour OB CRNA position at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role is full time with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist on the Inpatient Anesthesia Team.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly compensation ranges from $100.96 to $159.60. Sign-on bonus up to $100,000. Relocation assistance up to $7,500. CME reimbursement up to $2,500 plus additional PTO days. PTO accrual starts at 30 days per year. Up to 6% employer-paid retirement contributions. Six weeks paid birthing-mother maternity leave and four weeks paid parental leave. SRNA education assistance up to $12,000 monthly during final year of school. Paid medical liability insurance.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Position involves 24 hour OB coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for inpatient procedures using safe techniques. Precept student nurse anesthetists. Determine patient care plans considering co-morbidities and age guidelines. Collaborate with medical team. Maintain patient records. Demonstrate scheduling flexibility and professionalism.

Facility Details

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is a level 1 trauma center and part of a nationally recognized academic health system. Case types include orthopedic, vascular, burns, cardiothoracic, neurology, ENT, general/abdominal, robotic, gynecology, EP, IR, MRI, burn tank, brachytherapy, and TEE.

Qualifications

Graduation from accredited nurse anesthesia program with master's degree or higher. North Carolina RN licensure and NBCRNA certification. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Clinical competency within granted privileges. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
