Position Overview

Full-time CRNA Resource Pool position at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center serving all UPP facilities in Allegheny County. Two years of experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and related care including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
• Assume responsibility for controlled substances per department and hospital policy.
• Assist with teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Participate in Quality Improvement processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Board Certified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• AHA-approved ACLS/PALS, BLS/CPR certifications.
• Two years of experience required.
