Position Overview

Full-time CRNA opportunity at UPMC Somerset in Somerset, PA. This call-taking role features rotating 24-, 10-, and 8-hour shifts across five operating rooms plus a cystoscopy suite.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Rotating shifts include 24-, 10-, and 8-hour options with call responsibilities.

Case Mix

Diverse cases including general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, GYN, dental, and ENT. High-volume pediatric dental and ENT patient population.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe anesthesia care across the perioperative continuum. Monitor patient response to sedatives, analgesics, and anesthetic agents. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and care team members. Support quality improvement, documentation, compliance, and education of new CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. Board certified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Master's degree preferred.
