Position Overview
Essential Anesthesia Management seeks a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Cardiovascular fellowship not required but CV proficiency and echo proficiency required.
Schedule and Call
35 weeks of service annually. Monday through Friday on-site during service weeks. Beeper call during 7 weeks of service with 30-minute callback requirement. Additional compensation for hours after 7pm.
Practice Details
Two anesthesiologists on-site daily working with a team of four CRNAs. Cases include cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and interventional cath lab procedures. No ER at the facility.
Qualifications
CV fellowship not required. Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure. Proficiency in cardiovascular anesthesia and echo required.
Location
Lafayette offers affordable living, Cajun culture, festivals, and outdoor recreation. Two hours west of New Orleans and one hour west of Baton Rouge.
