Position Overview
Anesthesiologist position at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Provides clinical management of patients undergoing anesthesia including general, regional, local and monitored anesthesia care.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range $370,000 - $400,000 per year. Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program up to $200,000. 50-55 days of paid time off per year. Traditional federal pension with 5 years vesting and federal 401K with up to 5% contributions. Federal health, vision, dental, term life and long-term care insurance. $1,000 per year CME reimbursement. Free liability protection with tail coverage.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm. On call rotation as required.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree. U.S. citizenship. Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Must pass pre-employment physical, background investigation and drug screening. Participation in seasonal influenza vaccination program required.
