Position Overview

Full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Anesthesiology Department at UPMC Shadyside.

Schedule and Call

Shifts are 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts. Call consists of 4 Saturdays annually.

Case Mix

Cases include outpatient ASC, surgical oncology, plastics, orthopedics, cardiac/hybrid TAVR, neurosurgery, complex urology, ENT, general surgery, robotic, and thoracic.

Facility Details

520-bed tertiary care facility with Magnet Status and academic teaching hospital designation. 21 main ORs, 6 ASC ORs, plus bronchoscopy, GI, IR/CT/MRI, EP labs, and radiation oncology suites. Over 19,000 surgical cases per year.

Requirements

Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program. Current Pennsylvania RN license. CRNA certification or eligibility. BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required. Acts 33, 34, and 73 clearances.
