Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care reflecting patient care standards and serve as role model for staff.
• Develop goals and objectives for CRNAs in collaboration with the patient care team.
• Promote effective planning and utilization of anesthesia resources.
• Manage care and practice issues, mediate between anesthesia care team members.
• Conduct growth and development conferences, coach employees, and perform annual CRNA performance evaluations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, counsel, discipline, and terminate employees as needed.
• Monitor CRNA schedule and payroll, respond to incident reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings for CRNAs and assume 24-hour responsibility for the clinical unit.
• Promote professional development and community involvement.

Qualifications

Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of two years clinical anesthesia experience required, with three years preferred. Strong leadership skills and clinical competency required. ACLS and BLS required. CRNA and RN licensure required.
