Position Overview

Full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA Level 2) position at University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Anesthesiology Department, UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA.

Facility Details

• 900-bed Level I trauma and transplant center
• 45 operating rooms plus endoscopy, interventional radiology, EP labs, cath lab, bronch lab, Gamma Knife, and MRI suites
• Handles over 35,000 cases annually
• Affiliated with University of Pittsburgh

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for trauma, transplant, general surgery, neurosurgery, OB trauma, orthopedics, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, urology, ENT, and additional specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
• Board certified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Knowledge of controlled substance policies per federal and state laws
