Position Overview

Anesthesiologist position at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Physicians function as independent licensed practitioners providing peri-operative anesthetic care including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative administration, and post-anesthesia monitoring.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range $310,000 - $400,000 per year. Recruitment/Relocation incentive authorized for highly qualified candidates. Education Debt Reduction Program eligible with up to $200,000 loan repayment. 50-55 days of paid time off per year. Schedule & Call Requirements

Full-time schedule Monday-Friday 7 AM-3:30 PM. Part-time option Monday-Thursday 7 AM-3:30 PM.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from accredited institution. Completed three-year residency. Full and unrestricted license in any state. Eligible to take certifying examination in core specialty. U.S. citizenship required.
