Position Overview

Full-time academic anesthesiologist position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA) in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Initial clinical effort is 90%.

Qualifications

Fellowship specialty training with experience in academic anesthesiology is strongly preferred. Minimum 2 years as Instructor or minimum 4 years post degree with any combination of time as a clinician, clinical scientist or GME trainee. Board certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (or approved foreign equivalent) and actively participating in the Maintenance of Certification Program, or in the examination system with the ABA. Unrestricted Texas medical license in good standing required before onboarding.
