Position Overview

Pediatric Anesthesiologist at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Join a team of 28 anesthesiologists and more than 50 advanced practice providers serving St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, and St. Joseph's Women's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for neonatal, general, and subspecialty pediatric surgeries.
• Participate in shared pediatric call responsibilities.
• Incorporate some adult anesthesia cases.
• Work in a 3:1 supervision model with opportunities for hands-on cases.

Qualifications

• Pediatric Anesthesiology Board Certification or Eligibility required.
• Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.

St. Joseph's Hospital is part of BayCare Medical Group. The facility includes dedicated pediatric surgical suites and is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Plans are approved for a new free-standing Children's Hospital.
