Position Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota seeks Regional Anesthesiologists for a faculty position in Minneapolis. The role involves practice at academic inpatient hospitals with a dedicated regional anesthesia team serving orthopedics, thoracic, oncology, gynecology, urology, and pediatrics cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regional anesthesia and acute pain management.
• Teach residents and fellows, including regional and acute pain fellows.
• Pursue educational, quality, service, or research interests with protected academic time.

Qualifications

• ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency and Regional Anesthesiology fellowship training or substantive regional anesthesia experience.
• Board certified or eligible with the ABA.
• Minnesota medical licensure and DEA certification eligibility.
• Credentialing and privileging qualifications met.

Compensation & Benefits

Total annual compensation ranges from $420,000 to $575,000, including base pay and expected incentive pay. Additional university benefits cover medical, dental, and pharmacy plans.
