Practice Model

Care team model with 10 anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs/CAAs. Low turnover and strong provider relationships. Services provided at Fannin Surgicare and The Women's Hospital of Texas.

Case Mix

Mainly OB cases including epidurals and C-sections, plus GYN, general, outpatient, and some pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed
• Assist in directing Anesthesia Department activities

Requirements

• MD/DO from accredited medical college
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completed anesthesia residency
• Current physician license
