Position Overview

McLeod Coastal Region seeks a PRN CRNA to report to the Director of Anesthesia and Medical Director of the O.R. The role covers Little River, Loris, and Myrtle Beach, SC.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled, urgent, and emergent surgeries.
• Visit patients preoperatively for history and explain anesthesia plans.
• Maximize patient care quality using current techniques and equipment.
• Provide continuous 24-hour anesthesia services and respond to airway and life support calls.
• Manage postoperative care and ensure safe transit to recovery units.
• Instruct and educate student nurse anesthetists.

Qualifications

Graduate from approved nursing and nurse anesthesia programs. Hold current SC RN license and CRNA recognition. Must complete AANA certification and recertification. New grads from accredited programs are encouraged to apply and must perform all areas of anesthesia.
