Regional Anesthesia Faculty Anesthesiologist | Miami, FL

Position Overview

Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology position focused on Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise peripheral and neuraxial nerve blocks including interscalene, supraclavicular, femoral, adductor canal, TAP, ESP, and stellate ganglion blocks with catheter placement.
• Manage acute pain and acute-on-chronic pain patients in inpatient settings.
• Supervise residents and fellows; perform procedures independently when required.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, departmental conferences, and faculty meetings.

Qualifications

• Completed US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training.
• Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management or substantial experience in the area.
• Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology required.
• Research experience highly desirable.

Schedule and Call

Call is 1 week including 1 weekend per month from home. Weekend call includes inpatient rounding and occasional nerve block procedures.
