Position Overview

Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in North Miami. Full-time faculty position focused on general anesthesiology with academic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cases including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal, and general vascular.
• Supervise trainees and CRNAs.
• Perform cases independently when required.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring trainees, departmental conferences, and faculty meetings.
• Take 3-4 overnight calls per month, with possible evening or weekend calls.

Qualifications

• Completed US-approved residency in anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification.
• Board eligibility or certification in anesthesiology required.
• Comfortable supervising trainees and CRNAs.

Schedule and Call

Call expected at 3-4 overnight calls per month. Limited evening and weekend calls possible. Effort distribution may adjust based on department needs and grant funding.
