Position Overview
Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in North Miami, FL. Full-time faculty role with clinical, supervisory, and academic duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cases including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal, and general vascular.
- Supervise trainees and CRNAs.
- Perform cases independently when required.
- Participate in teaching, mentoring, departmental conferences, and faculty meetings.
Schedule and Call
Call expected at 3-4 overnight calls per month, sometimes from home. Limited evening and weekend calls possible.
Qualifications
US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification. Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology required.
Practice Details
Academic affiliation with University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Opportunity to adjust effort distribution based on interests and grant funding.
