Position Overview

Full-time Anesthesiologist position at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. The role involves direct anesthesia services across a wide case mix including general, ortho, urology, cardiac, neuro, trauma, peds, and OB.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base compensation: $577,500
• $20,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule and Call

Typical shifts run 7 am to 5 pm or 7 am to 7 pm. Call frequency is 1-2 times per week with post-call day off. Backup call requires 30-minute response time.

Practice Environment

• 10 ORs plus 2 OB rooms
• 427-bed Level II trauma center
• Average 7,388 cases and 1,055 births annually
• 100% clinical duties

Qualifications

• Active California medical license, DEA, and state CDS
• Board certification required
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• New graduates accepted
