Position Overview

Critical Care Anesthesiologist position at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA. Full-time role with a mix of 30 weeks main OR anesthesia and 12 weeks critical care medicine.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Shift coverage typically consists of 7 days of 12-hour days or 12-hour nights.

Practice Environment

Anesthesiology department includes 14 physicians, over 30 CRNAs, and 24 residents. Services cover up to 19 anesthetizing locations with approximately 14,300 annual cases. No CRNA supervision required; resident and fellow supervision in OR and ICU settings.

Qualifications

MD/DO with Critical Care Medicine fellowship. Board-certified or board-eligible. Active California license, ACLS, and DEA required. Physicians completing fellowship are welcome to apply.
