Practice Environment

The department handles approximately 14,300 cases annually, including 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases. OB volume is 3,000 births per year. Services cover acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and ambulatory surgery center. Residency program started in 2021 with subspecialty training in cardiac, obstetrics, critical care, pain, and pediatrics.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Remote/minimal 3rd-backup O.R. call.

Qualifications

Active California license, BC/BE, ACLS, BLS, and DEA required. Physicians completing residency are welcome to apply.
