Position Overview

Part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD. The role involves caring for patients across the lifespan for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Establish venous access and maintain airway.
• Induct, maintain, and emerge from anesthesia with proper monitoring.
• Transfer care at procedure end and conduct post-operative follow-up.
• Serve as clinical instructor for anesthesia students.

Qualifications

• Active CRNA license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice.
• Active RN license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice.
• NBCRNA certification.

Compensation and Benefits
