Back-up Call CRNA | Lewistown, PA

Position Overview

Full-time CRNA position at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital providing anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under general supervision of an anesthesiologist. Includes preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up.

Schedule and Call

Scheduled 36 hours per week on day shifts. Shifts alternate between 12- and 24-hour blocks. Back-up call only. Overtime opportunities available.

Facility Details

Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is a 123-bed community hospital with 6 operating rooms, 3 endoscopy rooms and 1 obstetrics suite. Additional site at Geisinger Grays Woods outpatient surgery center with 4 operating rooms and 4 endoscopy rooms. No cardiac cases. Approximately 700 births, 4,500 surgeries and 4,200 endoscopy procedures annually at the main hospital.

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing required. Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNA licenses, BLS certification. SRNAs welcome to apply. Designated clinical site for SRNAs with teaching and mentorship opportunities.

Lewistown, PA, less than one hour from Harrisburg and 30 minutes from State College. Amtrak service and nearby airports available.
