Position Overview

Area Vice President, Anesthesia position at Advocate Aurora Health in Charlotte, NC. Full-time leadership role directing anesthesia service line operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve on senior management team and provide visionary leadership for the national service line.
• Lead monthly operations performance reviews, monitor budgets, and develop annual business plans and growth strategies.
• Oversee ambulatory and inpatient services to ensure clinical quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
• Manage administrative leaders, workforce strategy, and physician contracts in collaboration with physician co-leaders.
• Champion quality improvement, patient experience, and financial performance initiatives.
• Support academic mission through research, education, and innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field required. Minimum 10 years healthcare administrative experience including 5 years progressively responsible management of clinical operations or service lines. Master's degree or terminal degree preferred.

Compensation
