Position Overview

Full-time CRNA role at Carolinas Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma facility in Charlotte, NC. Entry-level salary starts at $204,443 per year with a $100,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Cases include adult and pediatric heart and heart transplant, HPB, adult and pediatric liver transplant, neuro, code stroke, OB with regional anesthesia and labor epidurals, pediatrics, neonates and NORA. Opportunities for committee participation and teaching SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Shifts vary and include days, afternoons, nights and overnight call with 8-, 10-, 12- or 24-hour options. Concentration available in adult/peds hearts, liver transplant, OB and overnight call.

Qualifications

NC RN licensure, graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia, CRNA licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS from AHA required. New graduates and SRNAs welcome.

Facility Details

Carolinas Medical Center is the region's only Level 1 trauma center and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. It handles 25,000 OR cases and 22,000 NORA cases annually and employs 110 CRNAs. Magnet designated with academic affiliation to Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation range $97.75-$156.40 per hour.
