Position Overview

Dartmouth Health seeks a General Anesthesiologist for Valley Regional Hospital, a critical access hospital in Claremont, NH. The role involves broad general anesthesia practice for adult and adolescent patients across general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and robotics.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general and regional anesthesia including blocks.
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative teams.
• Support OR efficiency and participate in quality initiatives.
• Maintain teaching and mentorship ties with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Schedule and Call

1680 weekday clinical hours per year with limited weekday pager call and minimal weekend commitments.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive shift-based compensation with premium pay for extra shifts. Relocation assistance up to $15,000 based on mileage.
