Community Anesthesiologist | Lebanon, NH

Position Overview

Dartmouth Health seeks a board-certified or board-eligible General Anesthesiologist for Valley Regional Hospital, a critical access hospital in Sullivan County, New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general and regional anesthesia for adult and adolescent patients across general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and robotics.
• Perform regional blocks and support efficient OR operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative teams.
• Participate in quality, safety, and practice improvement initiatives.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship through Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
• Interest in both academic and community practice settings.
• Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Schedule and Call

1680 weekday clinical hours per year with limited weekday pager call and minimal weekend commitments.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive shift-based compensation with premium pay for additional shifts. Up to $15000 relocation assistance based on mileage.
