Position Overview
Locum tenens Anesthesiologist night float position at a large regional medical center in Newport News, VA.
Schedule & Call Requirements
- 12-hour night float shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- 3 shifts per week
- 13-week assignment from May 4, 2026 to August 1, 2026
Compensation
Weekly pay of $10,020 to $10,560 for 1099 contract.
Practice Model
Supervision of CRNAs at typical 1:4 ratio with ability to manage independent cases.
Case Mix
General, OB, Neuro, and Orthopedic procedures.
Requirements
Board-certified MD/DO, current unrestricted Virginia medical license, minimum 1 year post-residency experience, ACGME-approved anesthesiology residency completion. Epic EMR experience preferred.
Facility Details
Large regional medical center with 20 anesthesia rooms using Epic charting system.
