Locum Anesthesiologist | Hanover, PA

Position Overview

Locum General Anesthesiologist opportunity in Hanover, Pennsylvania for a 13-week engagement starting January 1, 2027.

Schedule and Call

8-hour or 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday. Weeknight call 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 24-hour weekend call. Approximately 60 shifts per month.

Practice Model

50% solo cases and 50% CRNA supervision with a 1:3 to 1:4 ratio. No open-heart or neurosurgical cases. Pediatric cases limited to age 13 and older. OB coverage required.

Compensation

Weekly estimated pay $13,210 to $13,920. 1099 contract position.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year clinical anesthesiology experience. MD or DO. Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology. Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility. DEA registration. Recent Epic EMR experience. Ability to manage solo cases at least 50% of the time and supervise CRNAs.
