Position Overview

Level I trauma Anesthesiologist position at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. The role includes a 6-physician call pool with one physician in-house 24/7.

Schedule and Call

Weekday schedule features four physicians working per week with three starting each weekday to cover 9-10 rooms. One physician works 7pm-7am night float Sunday through Thursday. Weekend coverage involves two physicians with 24-hour in-house shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. The schedule provides 17 weeks of vacation along with 17 weekends of work and an average of 8-9 weeks of night float per year. Very rare call-back on backup call with two CRNAs on call 24/7.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 353-bed Level I trauma center, comprehensive stroke and neurology center, accredited chest pain center with PCI, and burn center. Located northeast of downtown Nashville off I-65.

Qualifications

All Anesthesiologists must be MD or DO with completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program. Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology. Must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
