Position Overview

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant position at Medical City Dallas with US Anesthesia Partners. Building a new anesthesia care team model from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Assist anesthesiologist in developing and implementing anesthesia care plans. Perform duties under direct supervision including arterial lines, central lines, and regional blocks at full scope of training.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts preferred. One weekend every 8 weeks. Home call once per week with low callback rate. Optional OB shifts for additional income.

Compensation

Base salary $214k for new grads, higher with experience. $60k sign-on bonus. Employer-subsidized health benefits. 6 weeks PTO. CME allowance. 401(k) with company match. Occurrence-based malpractice.

Practice Model

Collaborative medical direction with 1:1 to 1:4 supervision ratio. Adult cases only: general surgery, GYN, ortho, urology, plastics, podiatry, ENT, GI, bronchoscopy, radiology. Some ortho trauma.

Qualifications

CAA certification required. New graduates accepted. Full scope practice with physician support for skill development.

Location

Dallas, TX. No state income tax. Easy access via DNT and US-75. Proximity to Frisco, Plano, and other northern suburbs.
