Position Overview

Pediatric Anesthesiologist position at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis in Germantown, Tennessee. Full-time role with 26-week schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule & Call Requirements

Full call taking position. Schedule is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in pediatric anesthesiology. Fellowship trained in pediatric anesthesiology. MD or DO from accredited medical college. Completion of approved anesthesia residency. Currently licensed as a physician. ECFMG and FLEX required.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans. Manage induction, maintenance and emergence. Monitor physiological condition and perform interventions. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Services at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, and Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children's Hospital on the same campus. Includes 12-bed inpatient unit, 8 operating suites, 40-bed NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage.
