Position Overview

Night float Anesthesiologist position at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY. The role operates in a care-team model across the main hospital and three ambulatory surgery centers.

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule & Call Requirements

Schedule is 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off. Includes OB call.

Case Mix

Cases include general, GYN, bariatrics, robotics, ortho, spine, crani, thoracic, vascular, urology/renal, ENT, eyes, plastics, podiatry, endo, EP/cath lab, and healthy pediatrics. No open heart surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop anesthetic plans, manage induction maintenance and emergence, monitor physiological condition, and support departmental coordination.

Requirements

MD or DO from accredited institution, completion of anesthesiology residency, board eligible or board certified, current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
