Position Overview

Cardiac Anesthesiologist full-time position at UPMC Western Maryland, a 240-bed acute care hospital in Maryland.

Salary of $625K with $50K chief stipend and $75K sign-on incentive. Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures including cardiac, ortho, general, neuro and GYN. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain informed consent, develop anesthetic plans, manage induction maintenance and emergence, monitor physiological condition and perform interventions as needed, and support departmental coordination.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from accredited college of medicine, completion of cardiac fellowship, TEE proficiency required, completion of approved anesthesia residency, ECFMG and FLEX, currently licensed as a physician.
