Position Overview

Full-time Anesthesiologist position at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY. The role involves a care-team model across the main hospital and three ambulatory surgery centers.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Full-time schedule with call. Cases include general, GYN, bariatrics, robotics, ortho, spine, crani, thoracic, vascular, urology/renal, ENT, eyes, plastics, podiatry, endo, EP/Cath lab, and healthy peds. No open heart surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board eligible or board certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX if applicable
