Position Overview

Full-time Anesthesiologist position at UPMC Western Maryland with North American Partners in Anesthesia. The role operates in a care team model at a 240-bed acute care hospital serving Allegany and Garrett Counties.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary of $625K with $25K cardiac stipend and $75K sign-on incentive. Schedule & Call Requirements

Various shifts with no in-house call and beeper call only.

Case Mix

Cases include ortho, general, neuro, and GYN.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of anesthesiology residency. Board eligible or board certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
