Cardiac Anesthesiologist | Las Cruces, NM

Position Overview

Full-time Anesthesiologist position with cardiac experience required at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Collaborative practice with 4 MDs and 16-19 CRNAs.

Key Responsibilities

Perform own cases and rotate as one of two Anesthesia In-charge for pre-op evaluations and nerve blocks.

Schedule and Call

Regular days end at 3:00-4:00 PM on average. 40-45 hours per week. Second call only for cardiac cases, major traumas, or complex patients. Current call-back rate is a handful of times per year.

Compensation and Benefits

$660K-$700K total (base, cardiac pay, retention bonus). 1099 position. $50K sign-on/relocation bonus. 12 weeks off per year.

Collaborative model with personal cases and rotating supervision duties.
