Position Overview

Part-time CRNA position with Covenant Anesthesia Group at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

Facility Details

Methodist Medical Center has 283 licensed beds, 25 ICU beds, 12 intermediate care beds, 38 emergency suites, 2 cath labs, and 8 LDRP suites. Anesthesia sites include the main hospital with 13 ORs, Advance Family Surgery Center, and Endoscopy Center of Oak Ridge.

Practice Model

ACT model with supervision. Anesthesiologists perform interviews, place central lines and blocks, and assist with induction and emergence. CRNAs have optional opportunities for spinals in OB and epidurals.

Case Mix

All case types except transplants. Includes general, cardiac, ortho, neuro, GYN, urology, podiatry, ENT, endoscopy, and robotic services. Limited pediatrics at main hospital with healthy cases at the surgery center.

Schedule

Options include three 13-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts. Late pool averages 2 late shifts per week and 4 weekends per year. Options to work regular days off or vacation days at premium internal locum rates.

Compensation

Pro-rated salary for part-time employment. Additional earning potential of $10-15K in overtime for those picking up shifts.
