Position Overview

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at the Memphis VA Medical Center providing full-scope anesthesia services in inpatient and outpatient settings. This role emphasizes autonomy within the VA mission, with a focus on quality patient care, education, and research.

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Monday-Friday schedule with choice of 06:30-17:00 (4 days/week with rotating day off) or 06:30-15:00
• No call, weekends, or holidays
• Compressed/flexible schedule available

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $172,405 - $249,928 per year
• 50 days paid time off annually (26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 federal holidays)
• Traditional federal pension with 5-year vesting and 401(k) with up to 5% VA contribution

• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) eligibility up to $200,000
• Licensure: Full unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia evaluation and preparation
• Anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence
• Post-anesthesia care
• Peri-anesthetic and clinical support functions
• Emergency response techniques
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required
• English language proficiency
• Must pass pre-employment physical, background investigation, and drug screening
