Position Overview

A well-established private anesthesia group in Brooklyn, New York seeks full-time Anesthesiologists for both Staff and Directorship positions. The practice focuses exclusively on outpatient Ophthalmology and GI procedures in a supportive environment with high standards for patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care (primarily MAC and general) for routine outpatient Ophthalmology and GI cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and manage post-anesthesia recovery
• Director role includes leadership duties: overseeing services, developing protocols, compliance, and quality assurance
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, ophthalmologists, and nursing staff

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Current or eligible New York medical license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior leadership experience preferred for Directorship

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Monday through Friday, pure daytime hours
• No call, no nights, no weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• Staff Anesthesiologist: $450,000 – $500,000 annually (W-2)
• Director Anesthesiologist: $550,000 – $600,000 annually (W-2)
• 6 weeks paid vacation
