PRN CRNA - No Call, $1700/Day | Richmond, VA

Position Overview

An established ophthalmic surgery center in the Williamsburg and Greater Richmond, Virginia region seeks a skilled CRNA for a high-efficiency, outpatient-focused practice. This modern facility specializes in low-acuity ophthalmic procedures with dedicated procedure bays and a coordinated perioperative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer monitored anesthesia care (MAC) or minimal general anesthesia for adult outpatient ophthalmic cases
• Perform day-of-surgery pre-anesthetic evaluations
• Exercise full clinical autonomy in sedation management and airway oversight
• Supervise post-anesthesia recovery and ensure safe patient discharges
• Maintain accurate electronic anesthesia records
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and surgical staff for efficient room turnover

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia RN and APRN licenses
• Current NBCRNA certification
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with independent practice in outpatient or office-based settings
• Must maintain personal professional malpractice insurance

Schedule & Call Requirements

• PRN / part-time schedule with complete flexibility
• No call, no evenings, no weekends
• Average 8-hour workdays with 8-hour daily guarantee

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,700 per day premium rate
• 8-hour daily guarantee
• 100% 1099 independent contractor status
• Full control over personal schedule
