PRN CRNA - $1700/Day, No Call | Lynchburg, VA

Position Overview

An established ophthalmic surgery center in Lynchburg, Virginia seeks a skilled CRNA for a premium autonomous PRN opportunity. This office-based role focuses exclusively on low-acuity eye procedures in a modern, high-efficiency outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer MAC or minimal general anesthesia for outpatient adult ophthalmic cases
• Perform day-of-surgery pre-anesthetic assessments
• Maintain full clinical autonomy with hemodynamic monitoring and airway management
• Oversee post-sedation recovery and timely discharges
• Complete accurate electronic anesthesia records
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and surgical staff for efficient room turnover

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN and APRN licenses
• NBCRNA certification
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proven independent practice experience in outpatient or office-based settings
• Must maintain personal malpractice insurance

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Day shift only with complete schedule flexibility
• No call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays
• PRN structure designed to prevent burnout

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,700 per day (based on 8-hour day)
