Position Overview
Serve as an Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner/Family Practice) at Naval Branch Health Clinic Yorktown, VA, providing direct primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive health histories, physical examinations, and preventive health assessments
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions
- Manage specialty referrals and complete clinical documentation
Qualifications
Requires appropriate licensure and certification for Nurse Practitioner practice. Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalency.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range $160,687 - $208,898 per year. Recruitment incentive may be authorized. Advanced in-hire and leave accrual may be authorized. Direct deposit required.
Schedule & Call Requirements
Full-time position with standard federal work schedule. 1-year probationary period applies.
