Intermittent Anesthesiologist | Miami, FL

Position Overview

The Miami VA Healthcare System seeks an experienced Intermittent Anesthesiologist to deliver high-quality care in a growing academic VA hospital setting. This intermittent role offers flexibility while contributing to patient care standards and resident education.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-operative evaluation and consultation
• General, regional, and neuraxial anesthesia
• Acute and chronic pain management including nerve blocks and epidurals
• Arterial line placement, central venous cannulation, and airway management
• Moderate sedation and consultative services
• Supervision of medical students and physician residents

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from accredited institution
• U.S. citizenship required
• Full unrestricted medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Proficiency in English

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $350,000 - $400,000 per year
• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) up to $200,000
• 50-55 days paid time off annually
