Position Overview

General Anesthesiologist position at Advocate Condell Medical Center, a 257-bed Level I trauma center in Libertyville, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

Standard anesthetic care for general, MAC, regional, and neuraxial anesthesia. Case mix includes thoracic/vascular, bread and butter, pediatrics, and L&D. No organ transplants. Approximately 30-40% inpatient and 60-70% outpatient.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program. Board-eligibility or board-certification in Anesthesiology.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation of 625K. 8 weeks of vacation, dedicated CME time, and guaranteed post-call days. Paid claims-made medical liability insurance. No noncompete for anesthesiologists. Eligible for student loan forgiveness program and/or sign-on bonus. Schedule & Call Requirements

Approximately 15 weekday call 1 and 15 weekday call 2 obligations per year. Post call 1 always guaranteed off.
