Position Overview

Per diem Anesthesiologist position at PeaceHealth in Ketchikan, Alaska. Solo practice with no backup required.

Schedule and Call

Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Weekday call pay $775, weekend call pay $1,250.

Compensation

Day rate of $3,056 per shift. Additional call compensation provided.

Practice Details

Serves orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, GI, plastics, pediatric dental, women's health surgeries, and urology. Must perform ultrasound guided blocks, OB labor epidurals, and central lines.

Requirements

Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OB, trauma, and pediatric dental. BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification required within 30 days of hire. Comfortable practicing independently.

Facility

Ketchikan Medical Center, 25-bed critical access hospital with Level IV trauma designation. EPIC EMR in use.

Location

Ketchikan, Alaska offers scenic Southeast Alaska setting with access to hiking, fishing, boating, and the Inside Passage. One and a half hour flight from Seattle.
